Ocean's 11 (1960) is a heist movie with its setting being five Las Vegas casinos on New Years Eve. The film stars Frank Sinatra and his real-life "Rat Pack" buddies which at the time included Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Jr., Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop. Also appearing are Angie Dickinson, Cesar Romero, Richard Conte, Henry Silva, and some other actors who specialized in portraying tough guys.

By today's standards the 127-minute movie is mostly boring, with many of its scenes being only conversations in hotel rooms. It was a fun movie in its time because the audiences felt that the gang was having a good time getting together for the filming. Yes, their friendships remained throughout the filming, but production is not a fun process, even among friends.

The ironic twist at the end is everyone's favorite scene. It makes watching the movie bearable.
